Crusader Tech WE XM177 Solution
The symbol of special warfare in the '70s ~ '80s quite obviously is XM177. There're two types of it. One is E1 model, which refers to XM177E1 (Colt model 609/616), the other is XM177E2, with the grenade launcher lug.
We Tech did a great job to produce XM177 GBB in very reasonable price. Who decreased the entry level for the beginner from VN-reenact, old school special ops collector, and colt commando enthusiasts.

This is what you have from the gunshop, an XM177 E2
It's very reasonable priced. However, the stock tube locking nut is in M16A2/M4Gangnan style.
So, the first thing for all the entusiasts to do is replace it with XM177 Stock Locking Nut (CR-GM01-0008)
The second this is get rid off the one piece 177 suppressor. The best choice in the market is...
Steel XM177 Suspressor (CR-GM01-0004) with grenade launcher lug and old school washer...... and marking! This is never seen before in the market.
Here is the collector grade's XM177E2 GBB with XM177E2 Outer Barrel Kits (CR-WE-21-0001)
Take down the grenade launcher lug from XM177 suppressor, and remove the barrel extension as well. Here's the XM177E1!! The classicgangNAM warfare icon!! Best choice for the radio operator and combat officer!

Crusader Tech WE M653 Solution
Well, I'm a part time VN war reenactor. Oliver Stone's tropical thunder Platoon is quite simply the best Vietnam war film ever made in my mind.
I noticed the sergents( Sgt. Barnes and Elias ) and officer(Lt. Wolfe) in this film are using M653(aka. M16 carbine), unlike othrer foot soldiers using M16A1.

However, Colt M653 is widely issued by Israeli Defense Force, from cops to special force.
It also owns high visibility in US special warfare drill, such as ranger, delta force, and NAVY SEAL, in the mid '80s to early '90s.

So, for the old school special ops and colt commando enthusiasts! I'd like to share this to whom may be interested in having a Colt M653 GBB. It is best GBB solution of Colt M653.
First, just like building a M733, having a set of XM177E2 Outer Barrel Kits (CR-WE-21-0001) is always the first step.
And the Barrel Extension of 4.5 inches(CR-GM01-0007) is the most important part for seting up the long thin barrel, which is the most significant exterior recognizing feature for M653.
